2010 Portfolio Review

ONLY ASSOCIATE MEMBERS MAY APPLY TO BE JURIED
Dues for Associate Members are $55.

Your portfolio may be brought to the Gallery on the Mon., Tues, Wed, or Thurs. prior to the Review Day from 9:30 AM – 4 PM.

Works for judging will not be accepted on the Friday of Portfolio Review.

Fees for portfolio Review are listed below:

• First Attempt: Members: $10
• Repeat Attempts (including lapsed membership): Members: $5

The review begins Friday morning. The judges look for consistency of quality; one or two paintings of a lesser quality can disqualify the candidate. We do, however, urge unsuccessful candidates to reapply whenever they feel they are ready to do so.

All artwork need not be framed but must be rigid (self-supportive) and not to exceed 48”.

The decision of the judges will be mailed to you immediately following the review.

Your work should be picked up Friday, between the hours of 1:00 PM – 4PM. Click here for application.

Fine Art Photography:

•  September 10, November 12, December 10

You must call the Cape Cod Art Association 508-362-2909 anytime prior to the Review week so that you may be listed as a candidate. Space is limited on first call basis.

Candidates are to submit:

• 5 ORIGINAL works (preferably the same medium)
• Work cannot be copied
• Work must be recent
• Work must solely be the compostion of the artist and not touched by an instructor
• Artists' biography and/or Artists' Statement

A panel of jurors will judge this submitted work and provide you with a decision and feedback.
