Competition Guidelines
Oct 14th will be our fifth & final club competition of the year 2010. The following are the competition guidelines. If you have any questions, please send them to,
Digital Projected Image Competition 1. Digitally projected images submitted as JPEGs for this competition must be received by Tuesday Oct 12th via e-mail at ccaacc_webmaster@comcast.net no later than the midnight deadline set for each competition.
2. Digitally projected images should be 1024 ppi wide (maximum horizontal allowed dimension) or 768 ppi tall (maximum allowed vertical dimension) JPEG images. Images may be entered in each of two categories but no more than 2 per category. Remember, total of three digital & printed images combined are allowed.
The file naming convention is “image title – category – makers first initial and last name”
Example: Gee Whiz – O – BSinger …where “Gee Whiz” is the title for an Open category image by Bob Singer. Note dashes, NOT underscoring lines -- are used to separate the three file name segments. No underscores should separate words, just dashes for segments. You should NOT include your competition class in the title (this may change in the future, but we’ll give lots of notice).
NOTE: Digital entrys for Oct 14th competition are OPEN (any subject). Save (e-mail) photo as: PhotoName-O-YourName.jpg for your Artistic photo.

Print Competition 1. Bring your print entries with you, but early enough to enter that evening before the meeting begins. These must be matted and properly labeled on the rear. (Yes, they may be clear-bagged to protect the matted from labels). Labels are available at the entry table prior to the meeting if you do not yet have any. The largest acceptable size is 16x20 including mat (or drymounted without mat).
2. Print categorys are Seascapes or Beach Scenes and divided into AA, A, B competition groups. The 2nd print catagory is Urban Landscapes or Urban Street Scenes . You may enter a maximum of 3 prints distributed across the all categories, but no more than two prints in any one category. Remember, only 3 photos are to be allowed total between digital & prints.
NOTE: You will be allowed only 3 images per person. This can be any combination of digital or prints, but 3 total. Also as always, you are allowed only 2 images max per the X total catagories.
